A school-based health center (SBHC) is a doctor’s office inside the school. SBHCs provide comprehensive preventive and primary health care services and education to the students and faculty on a school campus. CCWV is excited to be partnering with West Virginia Wesleyan College and our goals are to improve the health of the students, provide enhanced access to healthcare-related services that are not currently available and supplement the services currently provided by the school nurses and counselors. Community Care's school-based clinic is located in Wesleyan’s Barnhart Health Center, which is adjacent to the John D. Rockefeller IV Physical Education Center.
CCWV will have a full-time nurse on duty Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Medical Providers will be on staff during the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:00am - 3:00pm
Behavioral Health Services are available, by appointment only:
Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
