OUR PROGRAM
Our team, consisting of board-certified addiction specialists, case managers, peer recovery support specialists, and therapists, uses a variety of methods to treat addiction in one of our three outpatient clinics. Medication Assisted Treatment Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based program to treat substance use disorders. When appropriate, medications such as Suboxone and Vivitrol can assist with managing an addiction to alcohol, prescription drugs, or other illicit drugs. MAT works best when utilized within a full recovery program. Case Management Case managers support patients during recovery and ensure that comprehensive care is provided. They help create a treatment plan and guide patients to essential resources, such as program referrals, transportation, employment opportunities, and more. Peer Recovery Support Peer recovery support specialists are in recovery from substance use and use their personal experience to help others on their path to recovery. They walk alongside patients and help them meet the challenges faced during recovery; they can assist with goals, action plans, skills, and support throughout the recovery process. Therapy Individual and group therapy are crucial parts of the recovery journey. Therapy can help individuals get theo the heart of their addiction, and it supports in the healing process from the disease of addiction. |

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
PALS PROGRAM
We are currently partnered with Upshur County Schools in providing services to their PALS program. The program is to help students who have misused substances, and allow them the opportunity to get ahead of the curve and start them in early recovery. The program provides limited class sizes, as well as therapy opportunities. As the program develops, we look to expand into other schools and counties within our service area.
For more information about our program, please talk to your CCWV provider or call
