DRUG "TAKE-BACK" COLLECTOR LOCATION

Community Care​ Pharmacy is licensed as a retail pharmacy - collector for
the return of unused, unwanted, and expired medications for legal disposal. The
process for returning the medications is simple. Anyone can visit one of the
Community Care of WV pharmacies and turn the medications into the
pharmacist on duty. It is not necessary to give any personal information, but the
pharmacists will ask for the name of the ​medication so it can be disposed of properly.

CCWV will only accept medications as part of the “Take-Back” program. We will not accept needles, syringes, or any medical waste items. For more information about the disposal of needles and syringes, please visit https://www.fda.gov/media/87634/download.​

Narcan Availability

​Narcan (Naloxone) is available at all Community Care pharmacies. No prescription is necessary.

Conveniently co-located with the Community Care of Buckhannon health center, the pharmacy stocks a vast assortment of pharmaceuticals and can fill your prescriptions with minimal wait.  The pharmacy provides discount programs for our patients at our health centers,  CareXpress locations, school-based-health centers. All clients are welcome at the pharmacy, including CCWV patients and anyone interested in receiving high quality pharmacy care.
