A school-based health center (SBHC) is a doctor’s office inside the school. SBHCs provide comprehensive preventive and primary health care services and education to the students and faculty on a school campus. CCWV is excited to be partnering with Davis & Elkins College and our goals are to improve the health of the students, provide enhanced access to healthcare-related services that are not currently available and supplement the services currently provided by the school nurses and counselors. Community Care's school-based clinic is located in Davis and Elkins College's Robert C. Byrd Center for Hospitality & Tourism, which is located beside Graceland Inn.
CCWV will have medical staff on duty:
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm.
CCWV will have behavioral health counseling available, by appointment only:
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm.

Behavioral Health Team
It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the unexpected and untimely passing of counselor Lori Thompson, LPC, ALPS, who was instrumental in our behavioral health program at Davis and Elkins College. Lori will be missed by the many people she has touched over the years. Her spirit and personality will forever resonate within our program. We will be offering support to Lori's patients and the Davis and Elkins community in the coming days. Please reach out to us if you need someone to talk to or require support.
