Pain Management
The Pain Management Program, licensed by the State of West Virginia’s Office of Health Facilities Licensure and Certification, addresses pain issues arising from both physical (injury, illness) and mental (mental illness, addiction) causes.

Enrollment in the Pain Management Program requires:
•Entering into a contract (agreeing to terms with random drug screens and pill counts)
•Acknowledgement that any violation of the agreement may lead to immediate dismissal
•Before being considered for entry into the program, a complete physical work-up of the
  patient’s pain condition must be done
•Treatment may not include medication, but rather therapy, treatment or surgery to treat
  the root cause of pain

Community Care takes pride in its innovative Pain Management Program, and it is excited to be able offer this important and much needed service to patients suffering from chronic pain.  In order to offer this service, Community Care strictly adheres to all State and Federal laws relating to the practice of pain medicine.  Any willful attempt by a patient to circumvent these laws may result in the patient being reported to law enforcement.

Our state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record (EHR) allows Community Care to manage the overall health of patients by giving the pain management team and the chronic care providers access to patients' full medical records. 

CCWV is now partnering with Health Note to provide pre-visit registration and texting services. Our previous texting number, 844-785-7409, will no longer be in service. You will receive a text from the new line before your next appointment. That text will include your link for registration paperwork and you will also be able to text your care team at that number for general questions or to make appointment changes. If you have health concerns or questions, please contact your care team using the patient portal or by calling the office.
