About Michele Williams

Michele Williams serves as the Compliance Officer for Community Care of West Virginia, Inc.

A Boone County native, Williams has resided in Buckhannon since 2005. She graduated from Fairmont State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, in 1989, and an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology in 1993.

With prior healthcare experience working at West Virginia University Hospital and Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Williams joined CCWV as a medical records clerk in 2005. Just prior to assuming the position of Compliance Officer in 2016, she served as Site Manager at multiple health centers.

Williams is the mother of two children. Her son attends West Virginia University and her daughter is a 2017 West Virginia Wesleyan College graduate and teaches in Lewis County. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children and enjoys crafting, traveling, and supports Buckhannon Upshur High School athletics.
