About Kevin Junkins, MD

Kevin Junkins, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Officer – Behavioral Health
 
Dr. Junkins grew up in Mt Storm, West Virginia, and attended one of the state’s smallest schools, Union Educational Complex. He obtained his undergraduate education at Potomac State College and West Virginia University. He attended Medical School at West Virginia University where he subsequently completed a residency in General Psychiatry followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is board certified General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. After completing his training, he joined Community Care of West Virginia to assist in development of a Behavioral Health program to complement existing Community Care services.
 
Junkins currently resides in North Central West Virginia with his wife and two children.
