Telehealth Appointments
Community Care offers telehealth appointments, primarily for our behavioral health services. We use RingCentral as the platform for our telehealth services. If you are using a mobile device for these appointments, we recommend that you download the RingCentral app before your scheduled visit.
Telehealth makes it easier than ever to connect with your healthcare provider from the comfort of your home. To make the most of your virtual visit, here are a few simple steps you can take to prepare:
-
Device: Use a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone
Internet: Make sure you have a reliable internet connection
Platform: Know which app or website you'll be using (RingCentral primarily for Community Care). Download and test it ahead of time.
Log In Early: Try logging in 5-10 minutes before your appointment in case you need help.
-
Find a well-lit, quiet space where you can speak openly
Avoid public or noisy areas to protect your privacy and help your provider hear you clearly
-
A list of your current medications (prescriptions, supplements, and over-the-counter items)
Recent symptoms or health concerns you want to discuss
Questions for your provider
-
Dress appropriately
Keep paper and pen nearby for notes or instructions
