Ronna Dittman Named Buckhannon - Upshur Chamber's 2025 Business Woman of the Year

Ronna Dittman, Community Care's Chief of Staff, was named the 2025 Business Woman of the Year by the Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce. The award was announced at the Chamber's Annual Dinner, held on March 5, 2026.

Ronna Dittman currently serves as the Chief of Staff at Community Care of West Virginia. Hired in January 2013 as an Office Manager in Gassaway, Ronna served as the Director of Marketing prior to her appointment to the Chief of Staff position.

A Florida native, Ronna was raised in Braxton County and is a graduate of the University of Charleston. Following her college graduation, Ronna returned to Florida, where she began her professional career working as the Director of Customer Relations for a nationwide telecommunications company. That role took her from Florida to the Washington, DC area. Making a change to a beach life, Ronna spent several years working in the hospitality industry in Delaware before returning to West Virginia.

Upon her return to the Mountain State, Ronna served in the administration of Governor Cecil Underwood. She spent ten years in higher education as the Executive Director of the GSC Foundation at Glenville State College (now University), the Executive Director of Valley College-Beckley, and the Annual Fund Director and Director of Alumni and Parent Relations at the University of Charleston.

Ronna is also involved in both her home and work communities. She has served as the President of the Woman’s Club of Gassaway and is a current member of the Rotary Club of Braxton County. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce as the past-president, following her two-year term as president. Ronna also serves on the Board of the Upshur County Convention and Visitors Bureau as vice-president.

In her private time, Ronna is devoted to her family and enjoys playing golf, baking and cooking, traveling, and making Christmas stockings. She also loves being entertained by her two energetic Jack Russell Terriers, Bo and Copper, who keep her on her toes.
