Position Title:  Network Engineer
Reports To:  Chief Information Officer
Location: Buckhannon
Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Summary:
A Network Engineer performs a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets organization and user satisfaction. A Network Engineer also provides direction, information, and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations. Travel between CCWV’s locations is required.
 
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Monitors system for resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
  • Provide Level 2-3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the organization’s risk assessment team.
  • Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Responding to inquiries from staff, executives, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
  • Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
  • Supervise and coordinate workers engaged in problem-solving, monitoring, and installing data communication equipment and software.
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work collectively with the administrative team
  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Will be required to travel to other CCWV work locations
  • Technical, analytical and interpersonal skills required
  • Deep understanding of Cisco ISR’s and Velo Edge routers.
  • Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a multi-site environment
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with no restrictions and possess reliable transportation
 
Education/Training/Experience:

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a computer-related field.  Equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Training
  • CCNP or higher preferred.
  • Network + and Security + preferred.

Experience
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
  • Proven hands-on network engineering experience

Position Title:  Custodian
Reports To:  Regional Operations Manager
Location: Buckhannon
Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description: 
​
Performs custodial duties and minor repairs. Assists in sanitation control and checks safety hazards. Maintain a clean working environment for all staff, patients and visitors. Ensure all areas are safe and free from hazards.
  • Entrance door should be cleaned multiple times daily.
  • Waiting room- needs cleaned daily by dusting, sanitize and sweeping.
  • Reception office- needs cleaned daily by dusting and sanitizing phones.
  • Exam rooms- sanitize sinks, wipe door knobs, exam tables, counter tops and ear, nose and throat probe base, raise the back of the exam table and clean.
  • Restrooms- needs cleaned daily by sanitizing bowl in and out side the base, check the walls for foreign substances and wipe base boards and sink area multiple times daily.
  • Kitchen area-needs cleaned daily by sanitizing sink, tables, refrigerator and microwave.
  • Clean grounds and parking lots of litter, glass, or other debris.
  • Shampoo, clean, mop, wash, and vacuum floors as directed.
  • Empty trash multiple times daily.
  • Mop all floors daily (use appropriate safety equipment and signs).
  • Maintain outside walk areas including sweeping debris and washing walkways.
  • Track the use of cleaning supplies and report a list of needed materials to appropriate staff.
  • Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, mirrors, and fixtures using both step and extension ladders.
  • Scrubs, strips, sanitizes, waxes, and buffs floors using powered machines equipped with rotating brushes.
  • Dusts such items as blinds, furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning items.
  • Polishes furniture, metal work, and chrome using appropriate cleaning and polishing compounds.
  • Remove stock from patient room storage areas and sanitize the storage area. Return all stock to appropriate locations within the cabinet.
  • Clean ceiling fans/light covers monthly.
  • Monitor soap, toilet paper, towel usage throughout the day and replacing when necessary.
  • Check and shred contents of shred box several times throughout the day.
  • Clean and sanitize patient areas.
  • Keeps basement/crawl space/attic areas neat and orderly (if applicable).
  • May perform ground maintenance including removal of snow from sidewalks, salting walkways, mowing small areas of grass at an office site.
  • Report major needs for repairs to the Facility Manager.
  • All other duties as assigned.
 
Education, Knowledge and Skills:
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate
 
Adherence to Departmental Policies:
  • Comply with the System's infection control policies and procedures including the Exposure Control Plan which reflects OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
  • Able to lift 40 pounds for routine performance of essential functions. Extended periods of standing, stooping, bending, reaching and climbing. 
  • Ability to see information in print and/or electronically. 
  • Incumbent will be exposed to virus, disease and infection from patients and specimens in working environment. An individual in this position may be exposed to: bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g. needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
  • Incumbent will be required to work at any facility and be responsible for own transportation.
  • Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational need.
  • Incumbent may experience traumatic situations including psychiatric, dismembered and deceased patients.
