About Tom Lynch
Tom Lynch is a recently retired woodworker from Rock Cave, West Virginia, who spent 30 years as a chair-maker selling his chairs across the country. He still teaches chair-making and woodworking and enjoys passing on his knowledge of traditional woodworking.
He is actively involved in promoting the arts in the community and helped establish a local arts co-operative, "Artistry on Main" in Buckhannon, West Virginia, where he serves on the board of directors. He is a volunteer with the American Red Cross where he has worked in shelter management and disaster relief and has been involved with helping improve health care for his community since the first clinic opened its doors in 1980. He lives with Grace, his wife of 41 years, on their 38 acre farm in Rock Cave. He hopes to do a lot more fishing in his spare time! |
