About Brock Malcolm
Brock Malcolm is the Chief Operations Officer and In-House Legal Counsel of Community Care of West Virginia, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center with operations in eight counties in West Virginia.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University in 1996, and he graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in 1999. In 2007, he left private legal practice to join the management team of Community Care.
He serves as the Chair of the CCWV Safety and Security Committee. He also serves on the Pain Management Committee, which oversees CCWV’s state-licensed Pain Management Program. In connection with his role in that innovative program, he was selected to serve on the Medical Subcommittee of the U.S. Attorney’s Addiction Action Plan task force.
He serves as Vice Chairperson for the Partners In Health Network, a regional healthcare network established to initiate a more rational, logical approach to healthcare delivery, to improve the health status of patients, and to ensure access to essential health services in West Virginia’s rural communities.
He also serves on the Harrison County Health Coalition for the “Last to First Together” health improvement initiative, a grassroots effort aimed at improving West Virginia’s national rankings in six areas of health and well-being: healthy eating, tobacco use, physical activity, alcohol abuse, preventable injuries, and drug abuse.
